Didn't We Learn Anything From Kimmer?

Have we not learned anything from Kimmer's/Heidi Diaz's reign while at LCF?
How about the idea that the don't ask, don't tell policy will not work when it comes to believing the claims of those on the internet?

When a new member, by the name of Dee-who was at the time pro-kimkins, began to post on the FWK thread I found myself needing to question why there were holes in her story. When I couldn't get a straight answer from Dee I found that my belief in what she was saying began to wane even more. But what I really found shocking is what seemed to be the fact, that many were defending Dee's right to be given the benefit of the doubt and to give her space. Under normal circumstances this would be a reasonable request, but after dealing with Heidi's deception and in the mist of a pending class action lawsuit the circumstances are not normal.

I also found the perception, that the person being asked questions was somehow being attacked, very shocking. This is taking into account the fact that Kimmer was allowed to grow and cultivate her lies on LCF, because no one was allowed to question her without others defending her right to not have to back up her claims.

Kimmer/Heidi made claims that the starvation mode doesn't exist or how a person that was obese could live off the extra fat on their body and even commented that one could fast away 100 plus pounds. All of these claims either went unchallenged or if they were questioned the person asking the questions was made out to be an attacker.

It all began to seem like extreme Déjà vu when Dee began stating how she was successful on kimkins but then did a complete 180 degree turnaround shortly thereafter. How her claims and accusations could not be referenced with any accuracy began to sound off warning bells in my head.

Then a member by the name of Lisa Rae posted this comment and although, her comments were not regarding Dee in particular, her post did ring address some of my concerns about the recent events.
The concern of how we don't seem to have learned the most important lesson of all from Kimmer.... That it is necessary to question those things that are extreme, that don't make sense and the need to validate statements to make an informed decision. Those individuals that are being truthful usually do not have a problem with these type of questions and want to share as much as they can about their journey.

...[...]..Now let me also state..I have been on this board a long time. I did have an on-line relationship with Kimmer that was defiantly Hot and Cold (LOL) I often confronted her about her "ideas and theories" way before her Kimkins took off.

I also took a lot of heat from her followers whenever I questioned her unusual ideas. She aslo could be very suportive to me as a single mom struggling on my own. Ok...so when I came back here a few months ago..I was curious to see the Kimkins Posting area. Having known her before and after her fall, I was interested to see what was being said. I found many people there still very angry and upset ( which I totally get..really) and when I asked why there were 16+ posts ( with dozens of pages for each post...so were talking hundreds of pages here) still venting about Kimmers..I was basically told that they never wanted anyone else to go through what they did.
Cool..I again get that. I figured with as much passion as people had to expos her..that they would not let it happen again...right? Now ( yeah, I know..I tend to be very long winded...sorry!!) pan to this past week.

I like to read the boards and give an opinion or info if I can. I have seen at least 2 different posters giving advice to me that sounded totally extreme..and possibly dangerous.( definatly not what I have read in any low-carb book or article) I really expected after the whole Kimkins disaster..for someone..anyone to question the advice that was given.

Guess what..NOPE! Not one question was asked.
People just seemed to assume the posters knew what they were talking about and jumped right on the bandwagon! I was FLOORED! Don't get me wrong..I am in no way saying *I* have the answers and they don't. What I am saying is why aren't people questioning these low-carb experts? Why are they assuming because someone posts a pick..it's a true pick or their real stats..( and again..I'm not talking about a specific person...but all postings) it seems like the past ( which isn't even really the past yet) could so easily be re-lived and I'm just amazed.

Heres a few things to ponder..if thinking of taking advice from someone.
1. would you eat the way they suggest around family and friends? If yes, could you explain why your eating that way?

2. what kind of results are reasonable and realistic? What are they saying the results are likely to be? do they coencide?

3. would you tell your doctor your eating this way? If no, why not?

I know I sound very negative, but really I'm concerned. I've seen too many people not take the time to read or educate themselves about what they are doing. This "jump on the bandwagon" mentality, has had some dire consequences for many people on this board and in the diet world in general ( anyone else rememeber phen-fen??) I hope people get that my heart is in the right place... I would absolutly never want another person to jeoperdise their health by going to extremes.
I truly believe the saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!" PLEASE, question authority, especially where your health is concerned. You don't get a second body..[..]..

Authoritarian

Earlier today a LCF member brought up the term- Authoritarian. Here is part of her quote-

This reminded me of a series of social psychology experiments called “The Milgram experiment”.

These were performed by the Yale University psychologist Stanley Milgram. The study participants had to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts that went against their moral and personal structure.

I am sure others are familiar with a portion of the experiments: The experimenter (authority figure) orders the subject (1) to give what the subject believes are painful electric shocks to another subject (2), who is actually an actor.

The subject(1) believed that for each wrong answer, the subject(2) was receiving actual shocks, but in reality there were no shocks. Now the subject who was “supposedly” receiving the shocks would play the part by screaming and crying out in pain during the testing but subject (1) would continue to give the shocks based on the direction of the authority figure, who was in this case was a stern biology professor.

Here is a quote from wikipedia regarding the experiment- “After a number of voltage level increases, the actor started to bang on the wall that separated him from the subject. After several times banging on the wall and complaining about his heart condition, all responses by the subject (2) would cease.

At this point, many people indicated their desire to stop the experiment and check on the subject (2). Some test subjects(1) paused at 135 volts and began to question the purpose of the experiment. Most continued after being assured that they would not be held responsible.

A few subjects began to laugh nervously or exhibit other signs of extreme stress once they heard the screams of pain coming from the learner{test subject 2}.

If at any time the subject (1) indicated his desire to halt the experiment, he was given a succession of verbal prods by the experimenter, in this order:
-Please continue.
-The experiment requires that you continue.
-It is absolutely essential that you continue.
-You have no other choice, you must go on.”

The Yale senior-year psychology majors were polled prior to the experiment as to the percentage of those participating that would give the full electrical shock.
They gave a 1.2% estimate….
Do you know what the actual percentage was of those WILLING to give the maximum voltage? .......

The point for SingingLass to consider is that we as humans given a certain environment can act against our own morals and ethics. This becomes easier when we are put in a controlled situation and instructed by an Authoritarian type figure that it is fine to behave in this manner. If you read the description of an Authoritarian it reads just like KIMMER, then there is SingingLass pressing the buttons.

SingingLass, six months have passed since I originally wrote this post, but I still must ask you what are you willing to do and do you realize what you have done?

Heidi Diaz Adds More illegal Business Practices to Her Résumé.

The Kimkins saga continues. If you haven't been following the story, you may want to check out our previous coverage on the subject. But basically, Kimkins is an Internet-based starvation diet scam that's drawn scrutiny and investigation in the past year or so. And a class action lawsuit, being joined by former Kimkins members who have suffered ill health due to following the so-called diet, is in the works.

According to a recent Consumer Affairs story, Woman's World Magazine issued an apology to its readers a few weeks ago for a story that appeared in the publication several months ago boasting about Kimkins. But the apology certainly didn't mean the fat 300-pound woman behind the scam -- who publishes fake "after" photos that are identified as her on the web site -- had to pay back any of the $1.2 million in membership fees that were paid in the booming months following the feature story.

But as a victim myself, I am happy to see anything that exposes Kimkins. No, I didn't pay membership fees and I've never followed the "diet." But the woman running the show did steal my words from another web site to put up on her own. She gave credit to the web site, but not to me. Either way, she never sought permission to publish the article. And when asked to remove it from her site, simply switched the accessibility of the page to members only. I don't know why she's so intent on keeping my words for members' viewing. The article was about managing type 1 diabetes. It must have been the title, Food Frugality, that caught her eye. But as with most words, context is everything.

As the pending class action lawsuit continues to gain momentum it becomes clear to me, that the only way to stop Heidi Diaz's business practices is to have her answer for them in a court of law.

Fawn Sans Smilies Or Kimkins.

Definition- Fawn v.- try to gain favor by cringing or flattering;

Synonyms: fawn¹, apple-polish, bootlick, kowtow, slaver¹, toady, truckle-These verbs mean to curry favor by behaving obsequiously and submissively:

I had always found Fawn’s posts at kimkins to be over the top. They were long posts, with various colors, fonts and more glitter and smilies than one of those terrible obligatory, souvenir t-shirts , but I thought if that is her style- then so be it. But then, when the random outbursts of cussing and head spinning rants started, it made be wonder what happened to all the rainbows and butterflies! So I really shouldn’t have been surprised when I found her profile in an alternative lifestyle website….could this be agentlefawn? Yes! There she was without a smilie in sight!

Now, when I began to search for a connection between Heidi Diaz and other potential internet businesses she may be involved in, I automatically thought of pornography and drugs. I mean where else do most criminals decide to invest their money to watch it grow? I was guessing that most cons don’t put their illegal gains into a savings account or an IRA.

The first odd link that came up was with the words “Jeannie Baitinger florida”. I posted about on LCF on Nov 29, 2007 and it was clear from the placement of the terms, that this was random, and didn’t have anything to do with the website.

It would seemed that someone had added Jeannie’s name throughout some websites that promoted porn and some that sold pharmaceutical drugs on the internet. The timing of the word placement, being right before Jeannie was to appear on national TV, narrowed down the possibilities of who would know there would be an increase search of her name in the near future. To me all evidence made Kimmer/Heidi Diaz suspect of being the one behind the act. This seemed to confirm my suspicions of Heidi’s other business interests.

After being told that a general search of “agentlefawn” turned up a board that discussed the lifestyle of Domination and submission (BDSM) -I thought this could be the link to Heidi Diaz and the pornography industry. Fawn had always been such a Devout follower of Kimmer, that I didn’t find it too off course to believe that Kimmer was in the domination role and Fawn in the submissive role in that relationship.

I began to search Fawn’s information because I felt at this point Heidi Diaz knew better than to be out there on the internet using the screen name “Kimmer” or any other variation, and the only way to track her down was through other means. In this case I was looking at Fawn as being the way to find any businesses that Heidi could own in the BDSM or porn world. Then about a month ago I found Fawn’s profile as Ebony2006.

I had this information but hadn’t posted it or blogged about it. But then when I read the ambiguous post on Fawn’s blog regarding a “Criminal Investigation” and then her reply to Medusa’s comments, it seemed that something was amiss. Here is an excerpt of their exchange, but you can view the now deleted blog post of Fawn’s at Medusa’s as well as the comments between them in full.

Medusa- “what is happening?”
Fawn- “Let’s just say someone used something of mines without permission.” “Summary: A situation came up that something that belongs to me was used elsewhere on the net without my knowledge or consent and it was investigated in a matter of hours, shut down and handled with legal proceedings swiftly cause if it was left up to me, I would have been done something because I have a short temper but my people had to calm me down and sh-t “

Ok, so this got me to thinking - Talk about timing! How is it that Fawn has suddenly now be informed that her image is out there in the internet world?… OR…. Did she realize she had been seen on various websites?…Since I point blank asked her recently on her blog -if she had met Heidi Diaz on an alternative adult website.

Then she has this post about criminal investigation and how someone used something that was hers (pictures) and how she got them removed quickly. I agree- The pictures were removed quickly, but I have to consider the timing here. If Fawn didn’t put those images up then she certainly found them fast, because there are a lot of alternative adult BDSM sites out there to have to peruse.

And if Fawn wasn’t the one that put them up then how odd that her profile there showed the user online as of 10am today EST!

Getting At The Heart Of The Matter- The Risks of Doing Kimkins

There have been some changes going on over at kimkin’s homepage, these began right before the court matters earlier in the week. Heidi Diaz, the Kimmer, is no longer on the frontpage doing her diet challenge for everyone to view. I believe one reason she decided to remove her pictures was the fact that they appeared to have been manipulated with photoshop, and why would this be done? Well, one explanation could be that it was necessary in order to shave off the pounds that Kimmer is claiming to have lost….yet again! The other reason she may have stepped down is the fact that she had a perfect member to take her place and that is the purpose of my post today, new showcased member- Laurala

This new showcased member is one who actually lost weight and looks great. My first reaction when seeing the member Laurala on the frontpage was what a beautiful person, who must be so proud of their weight loss. The member was a new name to me, so I had to research who was this person who magically appeared on the homepage. I mean after the Russian Brides, let’s just say believing a success story doesn’t come easily to me.But what I found was much worse than a Russian bride filling in as a fake member. I found a real member, whose posts made me very concerned for her well-being.Laurala’s post are full of enthusiasm for life and support of the other KK members. Her words gave me the impression that she is truly a kind person and one that has faced many recent challenges in her life. As I read more I truly became concerned for the member, so I posted the following at LCF to see if others had some feedback or maybe someone who knew her could reach the member and verify the situation.

….What came as a huge, I mean huge shock to me, was the posts I read about the new member on the front page. The member looks wonder and I think she truly has lost the weight. She appears to be a real success in losing the weight. However, I was distressed when I read that the member had started KK on 1-25-07 and 6 months later became ill in August of that year. She was having breathing difficulties and thought she had asthma, but then ended up in the hospital.
The diagnosis- CHF -CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE! She posted about this diagnosis on 8-23-07 or so and then was gone from kimkins. She returned in 12-27-07 and started back posting about doing kimkins. Her plan was to do bootcamp for a week, K/E for a week and then get right back into Kimkins. She is doing KK with exercising/weight lifting and to say the least I am deeply concerned that she is doing more harm to her already struggling heart.Why the fascination with Kimmer? #14 - Page 36 - Low Carb Friends

So now you can understand why I was deeply concerned for the KK member. The negative health side-effects, that can result from doing a very low calorie diet (vLCD), have been discussed on the blogs and forums, but the fact that the patient was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure after being on Kimkins for 6 months alarmed me. But then to read she came back…well, my by jaw hit the floor! WTH?

A person with a perfect heart and no history of CHF, is risking their heart health by doing a vLCD like Kimkins, but then factor in the difficulties when dealing with CHF and a precarious situation begins to emerge.A diet that is classified as a very low calorie diet (<800>A breakdown of the heart muscle occurs, if the calories of a diet are too low or the protein is not adequate to cover the energy expenditure of the body.Electrolyte problems can emerge in those who drastically reduce calories and then have “refeed days” or increase their calorie intake quickly.The QT wave of the heart can also become altered based on electrolyte imbalance and that will result in arrhythmias. Those risks do not even take into account the difficult time CHF patients have regulating their electrolytes in general. Doing Kimkins- as a congestive heart failure patient- is like throwing gasoline on a fire. Things can get out of hand, FAST!

An article in the CMAJdescribes the risks to the heart while on a vLCD-

The heart is not spared in malnutrition. The decrease in cardiac output in the starved patient is matched by various compensatory mechanisms such that cardiac failure is unusual. With refeeding, reversal of these mechanisms occurs and congestive heart failure may be precipitated before the reversal of myocardial atrophy, even in the absence of other cardiac disease.
The malnourished patient is at increased risk during major surgery, and preoperative nutritional therapy may be indicated. Chronic cardiac failure often results in a malnourished state and, hence, relative myocardial atrophy.Cardiac cachexia and associated cardiac dysfunction may be improved with better nutrition. Rapid weight loss and malnutrition may also be associated with a syndrome of myocardialatrophy, a prolonged QT interval, ventricular arrhythmias and sudden death. Both protein-calorie malnutrition and refeeding have significant implications for the heart.

As I said earlier during refeedings, following a vLCD or following starvation, there is a risk that the process can precipitate cardiac failure and congestive heart failure. This occurrence and mechanism is discussed in the article Malnutrition and the heart- CMAJ-JAMC

Although congestive cardiac failure is rare in malnutrition, it is common during refeeding of the starved patient. “Refeeding edema” and cardiac failure are well known with oral refeeding of severely malnourished patients……[….]……Starvation is associated with a fall in heart rate, blood pressure and blood volume; however, refeeding is associated with a sudden reversal of these compensatory factors. Further, since severe malnutrition may result in interstitial myocardial edema, cardiac compliance may decrease. The malnourished patient may not cope well with increased salt, water and energy loads. Carbohydrate and fat are potent stimuli for the release of catecholamines and activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone axis. This further increases blood volume and pressure. Energy intake reverses the natriuresis of the fasting state. Furthermore, catecholamines augment the shift ofpotassium, magnesium and phosphate into cells, with potentially deleterious effects on cardiac function and rhythm.

Below are 17 cases of death in a group of individuals who died suddenly, due to cardiac changes, following a vLCD.While reviewing the study, it is important to keep in mind the points surrounding the individuals that did die: The median age was 35 years old, they had been on the diet from 2 to 8 months, had lost a substantial amount of weight (86lbs), that was stated to be at a rapid rate which computed to 4.6 pounds a week. The level of physician monitoring range from very thorough to infrequent and 11 of the17 were not taking any other medications- besides vitamins/supplements for the diet.

It appears that the rate of weight loss in those patients who died suddenly is comparable to the fast weight loss noted by kimkins members and so was the low calorie level in these cases approximately 300 to 400 calories a day. The patients in the study also took a prenatal vitamin daily, potassium in different dosages, and some also took calcium supplements. The take away point is that, these people who died, were in better nutritional and monitoring situations, than the average kimkins dieter.
The following are 17 cases of death in a group of individuals who died suddenly, due to cardiac changes, following a vLCD Sudden death associated with very low calorie weight reduction regimens

ABSTRACT We studied the cases of 17 individuals who died suddenly of ventricular arrhythmia after prolonged use (median 5 months) of very low calorie weight reduction regimens consisting entirely or largely of protein. The deaths appeared to be independent of type of medical supervision received during the diet, daily dosage of potassium supplementation, and biological quality of the protein product used. Factors common to all cases were marked obesity at the onset of dieting,prolonged use of extremely low calorie diets (approximately 300 to 400 kcal daily), and significant and rapid weight loss. Our review of available electrocardiograms and pathological specimens revealed a pattern of cardiac changes previously described in starvation. We conclude that use of very low calorie weight reduction regimens should be curtailed until further studies determine what modifications, if any, can insure their safety. Am. J. Cliii. Nutr. 34: 453-461, 1981.

Now, to relate that to a person following a very low calorie diet, like Kimkins, we should consider one example of how damage to the heart could occur. One way could be following “refeedings” scenarios.

I am going to use a hypothetical situation, let’s say a KK member-“Cardia” has been doing the kimkins bootcamp plan for 2 weeks (which is less than 800 calories), then go into doing K/E with a decreased appetite, due to ketosis. They do K/E for 4 weeks, but weight loss stalls so back to bootcamp to kick the weight loss up a notch. At this point the member has been consuming less than 800 calories/day for 6 weeks. “Cardia” makes it through bootcamp for 2 more weeks, but finds her resolve is waning or as Kimmer would say, “they are not tough enough” to stick with the program.

The weekend approaches and the member decides a cheat will not hurt, so she has the pasta with the family and dessert. The cheat ends up being an off kimkins weekend, but the stress of trying to move into a new house, made following the diet impossible. Then while picking up boxes and walking up a set of stairs “Cardia” notices she can hardly catch their breath. She decides to rest, since she must be overdoing it too much and on the verge of a cold or something. I mean who would have thought it was your body telling you that you are destroying your heart. The odd fluttering in her chest stops and it only happens once in awhile anyway.

A few days pass and Cardia continues to have some labored breathing, so she decides to go visit the family physician. Here she fails to mention that she is doing the Kimkins diet, because the physician never asks about her nutrition. Although, the check-in nurse mentions the weight loss when weighing her and comments by saying “good job, how are you doing it”? Cardia only says, “With Kimkins, a low carb diet”, but nothing else is said about the diet. The patient is told they may be reacting to an allergen from their new home, because she has had a runny nose and has had a history of seasonal allergies. She is told to increase her fluids, her antihistamine is changed and a nasal spray is added to her medications. After a couple of days of rest, the kk member is still feeling weak, but decides it is the allergies still bringing her down.

She is determined to push through this and not let a little setback throw her off track. She will not give into her body just wanting her to go back to her bad habits, and that is probably why she even got sick, she thinks to herself, now remembering her weakness and giving in to the temptation of food that weekend. She becomes upset and reminds herself, that she just has to succeed this time. They are having that big house warming party in a month and she is going to fit into that little black dress! She is determined to stick it out! She has changed her WOE and doesn’t want to go back to her old eating habits. Kimkins is helping her lose weight and she decides she is in control now. She will not stop kimkins if she has anything to do with it…..but the problem is she is right or at least partly right. She also gets to wear that black dress, it isn’t to the house warming party as she had planned, but everyone commented on how wonderful she looked as they bid their final farewell.

The above was a hypothetical situation but it doesn’t change the risks involved with the kimkins diet. Laurla, I hope you will take the time to read the concerns that others have for you and research the cardio risks involved with a vLCD. I do understand that you are under doctor’s care, but if you are truly following Kimkins, then I must urge you to take in an exact menu of what you eat, so an evaluation on your actual diet can be made. I do wish you the best in your journey.

Heidi Diaz is holding on to her money for dear life! The court documents on file states:

Cottle has said that Heidi needs to have her assets unfrozen in order to take care of her business, Kimkins.com
Heidi Diaz, the Kimmer, has also claimed personal financial hardship, now that she doesn't have access to the profits she made from scamming thousands.

Well, it appears that Heidi may also have a plan B if Cottle is not able to get her access to the funds tomorrow. A "flexible" payment plan as was described here from the kimkins blogspot.

Are We Viewing Obesity In the Correct Light? Can Fat be Fit?

At first glance this picture seems to be nothing but a pile of trash. In fact it is the trash of two artists, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, that saved their throw away items for about six months and then used them to design art. The real image can only be seen if the right light is cast on the items to form their silhouette.

Are there other things that we except at first glance and don't consider that they may need to be viewed in a different light? There are some people who believe that may be the case of how being obese is automatically viewed as unhealthy and thin as healthy.

Can one be fit and fat? That question is one that was discussed recently on the Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. The women voicing that they are healthy at their current weight, which by BMI standards, they are considered obese, were Rachael and Monique, fabulous bloggers from the Fatosphere. If you haven't visited their blogs you are missing out on the writings of some witty, self-accepting, believe in being healthy but loving yourself along the way...Oh, and they are fat. They don't understand why it's such a being big is such a big deal or why it is used to discriminate against a group of people.

The above guests also share the stage with Meme Roth, who is the president of the National Action Against Obesity. One of the many things that Meme has stated in previous interviews was the fact that Jordin Sparks would not be the American Idol winner, because she is overweight and, thus, a poor role model for children in America.
Meme had went on Fox TV and made the following statements. “When I look at Jordin I see diabetes, I see heart disease, I see high cholesterol,” Roth said. “That’s what’s so sad about this — she is not the vision of health — she is the vision of ‘unhealth.’”

I find the above statement of Ms. Roth very offensive on many levels. The main one is the fact that the teenager, Jordin, was not in a competition based on her BMI. She is in a singing competition where the contestants are voted on based on their talent. It read to me as if she was reinforcing the concept that discriminating against a person based on their weight is still accepted. If she had commented that she could not be the American Idol based on her race the outcry would have been fierce. But making blanket statements about a teenagers weight and valuing her worth based on it is ok? This is a perfect example of how teenagers fall so easily into eating disorders in an effort of being accepted.

That should give you a good idea of the perspective that Ms. Roth has to offer on the show.
View the M&J show that dealt with the idea that fat can be fit and consider this- Why is fat automatically considered unhealthy? Why is being underweight viewed as healthier than overweight? Lastly, why do we allow this form of discrimination to continue?

We, the obese-the fat girls, accept that we are unhealthy and that we don't fit in with the latest trend to be super thin. We want to be those fabulous women we see in the magazines and on the tv. You better believe that our daughters will want to be those people too. So we try diets and we if we don't succeed then it is one more blow to the ego. That is where diets like Kimkins are allowed to take hold. It offers fast weight loss with little or no exercise and it even touts that celebs have used the diet. The diet had a beautiful image of the owner of the site and page after page of success stories. But now it has been discovered that it all was fraudulent. Fake pictures, fake success stories. A scam! Lies told to sell the ongoing trend that a person, especially a woman, must be thin at all costs. Because being thin is healthy...right? Eating 500 calories a day is better than being fat...right? That is a big FAT NO!

Are we viewing obesity in the correct light? The fact is that most dieters are not trying to lose weight in the correct way. If you look at the struggles that the average dieter goes through with yoyo dieting and the health extremes in an effort to get thin, then the idea that being thin is more healthy then being fat doesn't appear to be a given. I think we all should view our healthy weight set point as an individual number, that is as individual as we are as humans. For some their natural body set point would qualify them as fat according to the standards used for a BMI. I am not saying that fat acceptance is an excuse for not getting healthy. But I am saying that obesity is not viewed in the correct light, because fat can be fit for some.

Award Ceremony to be Scheduled Soon!

In my last post I noted the award that should be bestowed upon Heidi Diaz, the Kimmer, and it appears that the ~~case~~ ceremony will be ~~heard~~ held ~~in front of "your honor"~~ in honor of Heidi Diaz. The ~~sentencing~~ ceremony may be long, but ~~mug shots~~ pictures will be immediately following the event.
It would be outstanding if Woman's World would decide to cover the event and back story on how Heidi Diaz, the Kimmer, earned this award.

Cheerleading Award Given to Heidi Diaz- the Kimmer

Does Heid Diaz deserve an award for something that may be one of her greatest achievements? If you guessed lying I was not referring to that talent. The title gives it away...cheerleading!...Give me a G.....

I have reached the conclusion that Heidi Diaz, the Kimmer, must have been a former cheerleader for a team called the NADS. She would have been an excellent cheerleader too I might add, because Heidi has some of the biggest GO...NADS...I have ever heard. Heard tell of I should say.

I became acutely aware of her big GO-NADS when it was reported that she lied in her response to the California Attorney General's office. A former member of Kimkins.com had contacted the Attorney General when they were unfairly banned from the website. This exKimkinites is also a member of the LCF boards, under the name Magicsmom, and she posted about receiving the letter from the AG. She then revealed that they also had included Heidi's response as to why she, Magicsmom, was banned from Kimkins. Here is the post from LCF -

Interesting what you find in your mailbox sometimes. I got a letter from the Attorney General of California today. In it was a copy of the response from Heidi about why she banned me. Oh my Lord!!!!! She gave them a post that she took from HERE that was written AFTER I was banned!!! Oh, I feel a letter coming on to the AG's office. Attached will be a screen print of the post they stole from HERE to use as their excuse for banning me. When I find it, I'll post the link to it. You will see how laughable it is, because I say right in the thing that I wrote it after I was banned. And they think THIS is a good response to
the AG? Heidi must have been hitting the Cap'n bottle the day she cooked this up!

Magicsmom then shares the response that Kimmer had given the AG as to why she had to ban Magicsmom.....Dontcha know that Heidi claims she did it all for the other members y'all. Well, Bless Her Heart!

Heidi didn't send them a screen print from LCF. She copied the TEXT of my post to her own website, and edited it, I might add. She took out the part where I said I was posting for their benefit because I knew they were reading here. It was PASTED into the administrative section of KK as a description of the "private" reason I was banned. She LIED to the AG and told him I posted it at her site and it was "upsetting to other members and interfered with their right to enjoy their membership". I didn't post that at Kimkins and couldn't have because I was banned. The AG's office didn't read it carefully, or they would have figured that out themselves.

1. The post she copied as the reason for my getting banned was written almost two weeks after they banned me. Oops, Heidi! The devil is in the details!

2. She lied to the AG and told them I posted it at her site. Wrong! She copied it from here! This is more than a faux pas. It is a deliberate attempt to mislead the Attorney General in their investigation. The last thing she wants is to admit to them she banned someone without cause.

I say that it could not have upset her members is because they never saw it unless they came here and read it. I have screen shots of my profile over at Kimkins proving my last post there was over a year before they banned me. Her goose is cooked! She copied a post from here written two weeks after she banned me and used it as her excuse for banning me, then lied to the AG and told them I posted it at her site. She is one piece of work.

Today I figured out how to use my Mom's printer as a scanner, so it turns out it didn't matter that DH forgot to take it with him. However, I figured that out late in the day, so I didn't get a chance to go to the post office with it yet, but I'm sending it to John and to the AG through Priority Mail.

Ok, so once you can get over the sheer size of the GO-NADS that are needed to-one...lie to the AG and then two...think that you would get away with it, check out Mariasol's blog, because she has a copy of the screen shot that Heidi sent to the AG. mariasol: Kimmer of Kimkins Lies to the Attorney General! . Then go check out the latest updates like the GMA show that covered the very low calories found with kimkins.

Now, after that I think you will agree that Heidi does deserve a Cheerleading award!

The battle with the kimpire is like a giant forest fire being fought on all sides. Yes the planes dropping the chemicals and water get all the news coverage because it is spectacular just as the million dollar class action lawsuit against Kimmer and kimkins.com is, but there are groups of folk back lighting fires to stop the spread in other areas by digging up facts on Kimmer like the new house, the fake plumbing company, and looking for Kimmer ’s new other site. At the same time there are individuals and groups of folk checking on hot spots to keep them from reigniting by rechecking the old found blog and article sites and making sure they are still 404 errors and page not found. There are crews on the ground beating out the flames of the kimpire as best they can contacting sites and recruiting other caring folk to do likewise to remove those fraudulent articles from where search engines will find them and misinform new to the weight loss Internet sites. All work is helping even if it isn’t visible to all. Some are caring for those caught in the fire and needing to be educated on the dangers of the kimkins.com plan they are doing and shown a new eating plan and forum to join like the stubbord home owner refusing to be evacuated from a fire zone cause it is their home, Some are quietly clearing the brush from the zone so there isn’t any thing for the fire to feed on by influencing the search engines to report the antikimkins pages first. And still others are in the fire towers quietly going about their business watching and filling out paperwork reporting all suspicious sites to the IC3 clearing house for federal and state investigators to see.

So go show 2big4mysize some love too, by commenting on her recent post.
I think we all have our role in this battle against Kimkins. We have learned that when it comes to Kimmer, where there is smoke there is fire, so keep on battling those fires everyone.

Kimmer has shown that scamming others is not a new found skill of hers. She has allegedly scammed others in an Avon con she was running for some time. Another blogger found confirmation that Heidi Diaz/Kimmer was once affiliated with Avon. You can check out her blog entry here Ding Dong, Avon Calling! While over at Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Pickles' blog show them some love by leaving a comment on their efforts to spread the word.

To remember why Heidi Diaz is dangerous on the internet, I mean beyond the fraud that she uses to take in new victims, then look at the recent blog post by Medusa -FROM MY MOLE INSIDE THE KIMPOUND: KIMMER RESPONDS TO THE STARVING WOMAN...

Heidi, my impression from reading your responses to JANE DOE and BETTY SMITH leads me to believe that you find nothing abnormal in the fact that they are eating virtually nothing (i.e. starving) and ignoring the signs that they are both spiraling into the vortex of anorexia nervosa and pro-ana behavior.Another deep concern is that the advice being given to these two women by some Kimkins members is disconcerting, to say the least. Telling these starving women to eat more is obviously not part of the Kimkins mantra or mindset.

I have been thinking - Why even continue in this whole saga of the "Fascination with Kimmer"and all that goes with the duck action?

I mean the pay sucks....try none.

No fringe benefits unless you consider having to retrain your bladder a benefit.
There are many hours involved.

Things are moving slowly with getting the federal agencies involved.

Kimmer is still running Kimkins.com and selling her "advice" to the newbies and old members alike.

It can be difficult to tell who is walking like a duck or only quacking like one.

It seems to be duck season with all the shots fired.

There is a lot of molting and losing of tempers...ummm....I mean feathers.

So what is the point of sticking around and trying to continue to fight against Heidi Diaz/Kimmer when the situation is not what one would describe as ideal?

The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet Discuss the Kimkins Diet but Don't Warn You About "Banned Camp"!

The New Year always brings resolutions and for many this resolution usually contains the desire to lose weight, but at what cost? Not only the cost to one’s wallet but also the cost of one’s health. The FOX Morning Show with Mike and Juliet are re-airing a live show that focused on the fraudulent acts of Kimkins.com and the owner Heidi Diaz.

An internet search of Kimkins will now turn up many of the negative health effects of doing Kimkins .The blog of Kimkins Survivors shares over 100 stories of ex-kimkin members who suffered ill effects from following the WOE that Kimmer promotes on her site. But something that is not discussed as much is the banning of members with no refunds.

This point has not been talked about as often, because to many, this was not the biggest problem. I mean you can always earn another $60.oo bucks, but who is going to give you a new thyroid or heart? So the priorities have of course been - “Let’s spread the word of the health risks of doing Kimkins”, not the financial risks. But I thought now was a good time to focus on the other risk of Kimkins…………………… The dreaded Banned Camp!

Kimmer and her admins took it upon themselves to ban members at their leisure and randomly. Some even based on their avatars! No, not a joke. If you are thinking surely this gal is fibbing. Well, first I would say- You would have to be a southern to say the word fibbing. Second, I would say, NO I am telling you the truth. In fact- I will just let the words of the owner, Kimmer and her admins, demonstrate my point.

Some of the members that were being banned were longtime members and had not signed up to “cause trouble”. The members being banned were looking for help losing weight just like many people and paid good money for their “lifetime membership”! They were then banned with no warning and no support system to continue to help in their weight loss journey. Their consumer rights were violated. My consumer rights were violated!

Wow, they were banning so many members they had to update and modify the banning function. It would be funny if it wasn’t a sad fact, that Heidi Diaz/Kimmer made over 1.2 milllion dollars in her paypal account in one month alone, off the members she is now discussing and banning. This figure is based on the recent deposition documents that were released. Oh, that is right I haven’t mentioned the pending class action lawsuit in this post. If you haven’t joined the Kimkins lawsuit and were a member of Kimkins please sign-up.

So she took their money and then banned them. She even was trying to get around the legal aspect of what whether she was “banning” members by allowing access to a page showing the diet and grocery list. Anyone dieting knows that you learn the diet and how to do it after the first few weeks. It is the support you get from others that makes a difference and Kimmer, along with her minions, were snatching that away from the members faster than you can say SNATT!

Why Does it Matter So Much Which Comes First on The Thread...The Magic Chicken Diet or Kimkins?

Ok, I never really blogged or discussed the Magic Chicken diet on the LCF "fascination thread", not because I didn't find the information revealed suspicious or questionable, but because other things were taking up my time. When I was able to discuss the topic the focus had become more on the recent out of left field posts found on Jimmy Moore's forum, which I did blog about below. However, there has been so "much noise" being made over the MCD, that the "message has gotten lost". It seems that those who want myself and other LCF members to forget the "innocent" MCD only continue to bring it up and defend it. The message of don't discuss the MCD have actually been the reason it has been discussed.

This only adds to my curiosity over the MCD. It does not draw me away from it. Those who defend the diet do so without knowing the idea behind the diet and even go as far as labeling it just like Atkins or having better bottom lines than Kimkins Diet. Really? This is based on their own viewing of the diet itself or is it only said to get others to agree that MCD is not to be questioned? Why? Oh, that's right to protect the innocent. ROFL!
The innocent? Who gets to be included in this definition of innocent. Would it be the potential "innocent" thousands who could shell out money for a product that is dangerous and/or a fraud? That would be who I define as innocent, not the few people- owner and her SIL, that have been brought up as innocents involved. Their motives have been questioned and so have their business practices. That is not harm, but only consumers asking the hard questions. If you start a business you should be prepared to answer to those to whom you are trying to sell this product. If you want to remain nameless then don't use your name on your website or in your emails.

The other reason given as to why this MCD should not be explored is because of the information regarding the request for a clone of the Kimkins.com site. (Great find by Mariasol) Some say, "why would Kimmer do this when she has access to her own web guys who set up the original site?"
Come on people use your heads, kimmer is using hers! Why would she make a trail that lead back to her or Kimkins.com? If Kimmer has shown us anything it is her ability to set others up to take the fall in their involvement with Kimkins Diet, while she is on the side-lines using them as much as they will allow themselves to be used.

Who had all the stickies up at Kimkins.com? Not Kimmer.
Who was on the front of Woman's World promoting the diet to the nation? Not Kimmer.
Who was on the boards defending the Kimkins.com site and the bannings taking place when the members were speaking out? Not Kimmer.
Who was on national tv defending Kimkins.com to the nation and defending the site and the diet after it has been shown to be a fraud? Not Kimmer.

But yet Kimmer wouldn't have those who were partnering up with her to start a new website go and solicit a design that clones hers, because she has tech guys that she works with and that set-up the kimkins site.
Oh, No certainly not Kimmer! -that was sarcasm for those who don't recognize its use- or at least pretend it is above them, much like all the other actions done by the "redheaded stepchildren" of LCF a.k.a the DUCKS!
You know I am beginning to think it really is above them to do what we do.....Yep, it goes right over their heads!

Now, that my interest has been piqued, I think I will look into this some more once the holidays and the festivities have settled down. So to those who worked on the MCD uncovering of information- Great job! If it truly turns out to be nothing more than a website who needed to be made aware that consumers are watching and that they are copying a fraudulent site,then that is done. If it shows that the MCD site was not giving sound diet advice and others read this or the other blogs who have reported this, then well at least that was accomplished! If it turns out to be more….well then I will be sure to let you know!

The Facts of Life in the Kimkins Saga- You Take the Good You Take the Bad

Wow, who knew so many words of wisdom were packed into this 80's tv theme song?!?!?
The song says:

You take the good you take the bad
you take them both and there you have
the facts of life

Maybe I was the only one allowed to watch sitcom tv or at least took away a life lesson from something besides an after school special. But life gives you good and bad situations, it will give you good and bad google searches, good and bad posts, and then good and bad days too.

It appears that some people only want to take the good that they can get from the LCF members, a.k.a- the redheaded stepchildren, but they can't accept that there may be some bad that comes up along the way too.
Not all research will yield additional information and some leads will become dead ends.
Not every post will be pc, in good taste, or agree with the reader's viewpoint, nor will every member's post be a reflection of the total group.

There's a time you've got to go
and show your grow'n and now you know

I don't know about others, but I certainly feel that I have been shown a side of people in their words and their tone, displayed in recent posts, that I hadn't seen in the past. I do feel that I know more about those people now.

When the world never seems
to be living up to your dreams
and suddenly you're finding out
the facts of life are all about you

This seems to fit the recent posts from jimmy's forum. It seems that guilt mixed with the stress of life was making...the world or LCF seem that that they are not living up to the dreams of some, and suddenly they are finding out the facts of life/some of the facts of the case are about them and now they want to make everything about them or their efforts to stop Kimkins.com.

It takes a lot to get them right
when you learning the facts of life
learning the facts of life....

It does take some time to learn and understand the objective of some or the person behind the words. I know I personally had placed respect for a person that now appears to have not deserved that respect, so I guess I didn't get that one right.

LCF "Fascination Thread"- The Red-Headed Stepchild of the Kimkins Investigation?

The idea that the LCF- fascination thread can at times become a tad, unruly or snarky is not a new theory. If the members who participated were told as much that probably would say....Yes, that is true so those who find it not to their taste, should in their own best interest, refrain from reading the thread. But most of the time the thread participates are called "haters", "lynch mob", or it is implied that they are just there out of boredom; trying to find something to do while waiting for news on the legal aspect of things. This belittles every effort that has been in the past, currently and even future actions by those so called 'haters'. That is where the defense mechanisms kick in and the members then feel compelled to defend all prior work on the case.
This scenario has happened more times then I care to remember, because quite frankly, it gets old. I have grown weary of defending the hard work that I know everyone is doing. Well, at least the ones that post there frequently. I also know there are groups that do work outside of LCF as well. I for one am feed up with those who love to read the updates and be in the know, but don't want to subject themselves to our humor or whatever the person is condemning us for at the time.
You would think by now the members who participate in the "fascination thread" would have grown accustomed to being treated like the "red-headed stepchild" in the anti-kimkins family. Being told that yes we have been good, but not good enough! We get a pat on the head and a tongue lashing to hopefully put us in our place. Then the scenario repeats itself again in a few weeks. Although the scenario has happened many times, one of the most shocking blows came from Becky a.k.a. Littlebit formerly of Kimkins.com recently.The following is Becky's posts on us the LCF members....the red-headed stepchildren .........

I am actually very upset with the LCF people and the blogs for being part of driving that site out of business. In fact, I am furious!

They can like it or not, but she was not a fraud, she was successful and real, and was well within her rights to start a business selling her diet. Contrary to their misinformed opinion, anyone can sell a diet, without a doctor or nutritionist affiliated, as long as it is within minimal safe legal standards, which hers was (and Kimkins isn't). She stated up front what the diet was better than Kimmer did (low carb, low cal, low fat), offered more support and more caution than Kimmer did, and kept calories higher, up within the range of MANY commercial diets that operate freely and unimpeded. The site cost her money she may or may not have recouped, and it certainly deprived her overnight of a stream of revenue she no doubt counted on. She has lost her business (and hopes of funding reconstructive surgery, apparently) right before what should have been her busiest season.

If they are opposed to anyone making money off of diet support, there goes entire sections of every bookstore in the country, and just about every diet board online, because they all make money to pay the bills somehow, whether in selling information, support services, ad space, or products.

If they think it is wrong to sell something without ALL the details being known first, they had better get appointed head of the FTC, and pull down half the marketing out there on the web. Better yet, become a majority in Congress, and change the rules. FALSE information, like Kimmer gave, is illegal. Withholding disclosure of info required by law is illegal. What the chicken site did is lawful marketing, whether we like it or not.

This was important to her, and a mere passing fancy to many of them, and they helped to destroy her business.

If it had had anything to do with Kimmer, WHY would the guy have taken out an ad for a freelancer to make it like the Kimkins site? After all, Heidi OWNS Kimkins, has the tech team that BUILT Kimkins, and could use that template to pop up another in a flash.

Congratulations. They ended up doing Kimmer's dirty work for her, and managing to get her competition shut down.

They will not rest, apparently, until Tippy's site and this lady's site and anyplace else current Kimkins members might really fell warmly welcomed is gone.

Yet they are patting each other on the back and doing the happy dance. I am disgusted.

Furthermore, LCF still has the Kimkins diet there, with many Kimkins threads devoted to it. If the Magic Chicken Lady was dangerous, what about LCF? True, there is the Fascination thread, which has done a lot of good work, but the rest is also still there, too, and nothing to stop people from following it as Kimmer always promoted it. Tippy's new site and the Magic Chicken site both have better bottom limits than that.

On top of that, they did to the Chicken Diet lady what they did to Tippy, and others --- insulted her looks, questioned her intelligence, mocked her spelling and grammar (and that of her family), and cast aspersions on her character, her intentions and her other dealings, on the merest of suspicions, with scanty evidence. Debate over evidence is one thing, but ad hominum attacks are uncalled for.

They have even had a go at Hector Diaz, remarking that 'maybe his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor'. He has been willing and able to participate in providing valuable info to the proper people, and he comes under attack? Out of line!

I appreciate the value of the Fascination threads, and the good intentions and contributions of many people there. However, this out-of-control nonsense is exactly why many people (including Tippy) didn't listen to them over Kimmer. The true message gets lost in the ugly noise.

Heidi is the true, deliberate scammer here. Every other player, to some extent, has been duped and used.

The ends do not always justify the means.
We are wading into people's hopes and dreams and fears and very identity and self-definition. Shame on us if we trample and misuse and exploit that!
Then we are doing to them what Heidi Diaz has already done.
It is wrong to re-victimize the victims, just to make our case!

Now, they can have a go at me, if they like.

Tippy Toe's Blog with a Short Shelf Life!

For those of you who have been following the Kimkins Diet
saga you are familiar with Jeannie Baitinger, a.k.a. Tippy Toes, who was PR director at Kimkins until recently.
It seems that once the assets of Hedi Diaz were frozen, pending legal proceedings, that Tippy Toes suddenly was rethinking her position there at Kimkins.

Now, had TT's heartstrings started to get a tug due to the role she was playing in promoting a fraud? My guess is that it is her purse strings that felt the tug, not her heart strings.
Remember, it was less than 3 weeks ago that she was on a national morning show on fox, called the Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, were she was supporting Kimkins.

Not only did she support Kimkins but she actually scolded Christin along with Deni for their previous dealings with Kimkins. So while Tippy has been fast to recognize any part that others played in helping Kimkins succeed, she has yet to recognize her own responsibility.

Here was her short lived Blog that was posted briefly and then removed. No comment as to why, but I suspect it was over the negative reception it was getting on the board at LCF.

TippyToes Blog

So here I am. I have much to say. This cannot be done in one day. Although I won't leave this blog up forever I will leave it running long enough to hopefully clarify some issues.

Who am I? I am Jeannie Baitinger. I am a person who has battled my weight for my entire life. And it was this very battle that, although won, came with a hefty price of reputation. And I will explain this as best I can.

I found LCF in 2004. My weight was 263lbs on a 5' 7" frame. My health was failing, I had to go on blood pressure and cholesterol meds and in general felt tired, washed out and ill most days. My husband also needed to lose 50lbs and he too was in poor health. He was diagnosed with diabetes and a host of other issues followed. I knew we both had to do something, but what? I found LCF and saw the success pictures and I was most impressed! I started hanging out in chat and I gave the Atkins diet a try. I cooked Atkins friendly foods for both of us and the magic of Atkins began to work! We lost some weight and ate like kings and queens. We were most impressed and very satisfied.

I began to make chat friends and eventually branched out into the boards. I liked so many people and I thought it was so neat to make friends from all over the place--even making one great and long term friendship with a girl from England and we are very close to this day.

A year went by and suddenly the magic of Atkins stopped working for my husband and myself. It wasn't so bad for him. He had dropped 40lbs and was not only off his diabetes meds but declared "cured" by his Doctor. But I was still over 200lbs.

I was told stalls are normal, be patient. 6 long months passed with a gain and loss of the same 5 lbs only, over and over. I recall a moment I broke down and cried, thinking this was the best it would ever be. And I was still considered the horrid word, OBESE. I felt trapped in my own body. I tried adding carbs, cutting carbs, moving up the carb ladder but the result was always the same for me.

A dear friend from LCF (and who I love so much today) told me about a plan called Kimkins. I gave it a try and PRESTO, I started to lose weight again right away! Kimkins gave me hope and a renewed sense of desire to make it happen--to finally be a normal person. However, I found Kimkins to be rather difficult to follow for long. When the weight loss paused I would return to my Atkins ways and maintain the loss. When I felt ready to go back to Kimkins diet, I would and while repeating this cycle I found success.

But doing Kimkins diet came with a price from the LCF members. I was constantly told I was ruining my metabolism. I was told over and over the diet was unhealthy. I did not believe I was hurting myself. I followed the plan as written (original Kimkins and K/E) and never starved at all. I kept my calorie levels reasonable. The difference was cutting out as much fats as possible. True it cut calories back in the process but the results were outstanding. But again, I was met with many well meaning people who constantly lectured me for doing this diet. Meanwhile I was actually getting healthier according to my Doctor who took me off all my meds with success. So who was I to listen to? I knew what was working for me. And I was never shy about sharing this with others, especially those stalled who were ready to give up.

Perhaps it was the sharing that caused me the most trouble in the long run. I joined Banta Babes because they are a group who are opened to any kind of plans. I was so thrilled with what I was learning and I shared with them. Kimmer opened her site and many of us joined at $14.95, and I considered that a small price to pay for such a fantastic plan. We continued to post at LCF as well. One post I read was from Michele. She seemed really happy for those of us losing so well on Kimkins but she said she had tried Kimkins and it never worked for her. I was rather surprised to read that as she was the first person ever to say it didn't work. So I posted, telling her that a few of us were doing well with it and would she like to try it again? Big mistake for me. Michele was offended, thinking my post somehow implied she didn't know HOW to do Kimkins. That was never my meaning and I stand firmly by that today. I was only trying to help. I sent her several PM's offering explanation as well as apology for the misunderstanding. Another member also made a comment who thought my post implied the same as Michele's assumption. I PM'd Michele and told her I would not post in Banta any further. Her responses were pretty good, or so I thought. Meanwhile many Banta members sent me PM's saying they didn't understand where the rage was coming from either. I could name them all but because I am banned from LCF now I cannot prove it. I have no more PM's to retrieve as proof.

Magicsmom, who was also following Kimkins and Mariasol met me at Kimkins chat shortly afterwards. Mariasol didn't have much to say one way or the other but Magicsmom had plenty to say. She said she thought I meant the post to mean the same as Michele's interpretation. I did my best to explain this was simply not true. As the author of the post, who knew better how it was meant than myself? But it was clear I wasn't getting anywhere. I was humiliated for my mistake and confused too. Now, if you think I am not telling the truth, the offending post is still at LCF in Banta Babes to this day. I hope you will read the thread for yourselves before you base your opinion.

There was a thread I helped start called The All I Want For Christmas Crew. Later it became Support Unlimited. I returned to it. Melly's first post following mine made a reference to cockroaches running when the lights came on... I knew it was meant for me. Melly and I have not always seen eye to eye. We tried to be friends at one time and started calling each other almost daily. But I was getting turned off by Melly for the simple reason I do not enjoy participating in gossip. I was hearing a lot of "she did this and she did that" about another admin who I liked a lot. I just couldn't take it so I cut off contact with Melly. I returned to the thread anyways because there were lots of my old friends still there. And I had missed them. Melly and I learned to be civil to each other but we never became close again. I did not want to.

There were a few there who were hot and heavy to lecture me for my Kimkins cycle ways. And yet, I saw so many of them unable to lose anymore themselves. I didn't understand this. I still don't. I became pretty fed up with the constant lectures for my diet choices. I knew I wasn't starving myself and I wasn't. It seemed like more drama than well meaning. No one wants to be lectured...

I spent some time at Kimkins but saw that cycling with Atkins wasn't very friendly there either. There it was Kimkins or nothing for many. Oddly, Kimmer always said Kimkins made a fine springboard for other plans but some were just die hard Kimkins only fans. So when I would cycle to Atkins for a maintenance break I would return to LCF.

I did eventually find some Kimkins friendly threads at LCF. I taught them how to cycle. I was afraid of people getting stuck on too low of calories and not being able to maintain. To this day I don't know if that is true or not but I heard it so often I didn't want to chance it. I did tell people not to stay on Kimkins long for this fear. Not because I thought the Kimkins diet was dangerous.

Later I will go into details of the recipe I gave to pooticus to supposedly make her fat. And I will go into details about my husband's colon check up and why. And I will try to answer more. I will also address the two months I subcontracted at Kimkins.

But for today I have a question for banned KK members. Why do you all think I was the only person who could ban a member? I keep insisting I only banned a small few and yet people seem to imply they have proof otherwise. I would very much like to see this proof. This is an issue I am very confused about. Every single admin there can ban without asking Kimmer. Kimmer herself can ban. Why me?"

The "why me?" question was purely rhetorical, since the blog was closed to comments.....
Then faster than you can say SNATT- they blog was deleted. It seems that Tippy Toe's blog has a shorter shelf life than-low carb bread on a hot, humid, southern, summer afternoon.

The Dixie Chicks said it so well that I thought I would include their song's title in my blog name.

I also include the words of their song as a message to Kimmer, because they fit so well with my feelings towards Kimmer/Heidi Diaz/Kimkins. I am not ready to give up my pursuit for justice for the fraud and deception that she knowingly committed. I will continue to blog and use the internet to spread the truth in hopes of counter-acting the false claims made in the internet marketing of kimkins.

My digging for answers and my searching of facts will continue until all the lies are exposed.

So, to Kimmer and to those who are/were staff members of Kimkins but have not taken steps to apologize for their involvement or steps to assist in her coming to justice- Below is my message to you I am......
